A packed Brooklyn synagogue has been the target of threats of violence by intruders.  An Arab man entered the "Sephardish Shul" and began making proclamations of Jihad. He was apprehended.  A couple of days earlier, another man entered another synagogue with a butcher knife.

A leading Toronto Jewish community-funded art gallery has disassociated itself with an exhibit over the artist's politics of associating herself with Israel Apartheid Week.  The gallery's website states it will not, "associate with an artist who publicly advocates the extinction of Israel as a Jewish state. The Koffler considers the existence and well-being of Israel as a Jewish state to be one of its core values."

The Jewish community in New Jersey have protested the promotion of a fireman who has been accused of making racist remarks.  The fireman, Norman Tahan, has been accused of calling Jews "dogs" and has referred to the Jewish neighborhood as "a city of child-haters".

An anti-semitic license plate with the words "NO ZOG" was recalled by the Oregon DMV who did not know "ZOG" stood for Zionist-Occupied Government.

A former employee of Mangia 57 said he was regularly served heaping helpings of anti-Semitism at the upscale catering company.  In papers filed with the state Division of Human Rights, Adam Wiercinski said he was derided for years as a “stinking Jew” and “Dirty Jew” by his supervisor and co-workers.  On some occasions, Wiercinski’s filing says, his boss would pass gas in front of him and say, “This is your Cyclon B, you stupid Jew.”

Police arrested at least five people after anti-Semitic demonstrators clashed today with Jews marking the 61st anniversary of the creation of the state of Israel.  During the Jewish group's ceremony, demonstrators waving anti-Semitic signs stepped in and violence broke out.  Five people were arrested.

Two of Syria's newspapers have published blatantly anti-semitic articles.  In one, Jews are accused of sucking the blood from Jesus' wounds during his crucifixion and the other article was a cry to unite Arabs, Muslims, and Christians together to defeat Jews.
