- did their best to serve the countries they were thrown out from, just before it happened
- never vowed to take revenge
- never stabbed a muslim out of revenge or "humiliation"
- didn't have a massive UN agency serving their cause (such as UNWRA for the Palestinians)
- don't have anybody applying political pressure to get compensation or a "right of return".
Instead, they just put up with it and made sure they look ahead and built better lives for themselves. Today in Israel many of those refugees and their grandchildren are thriving.
The Palestinians, on the other hand, were parked in refugee camps and fed hatred and revenge, anger, despair, bitterness. From mild-mannered, moderate people friendly to Jews before 1948 they were turned for a large part into unrelenting Jew-haters and Hitler-admirers.
Arab leaders thrive on showing off support for the "Palestinian cause", and utter contempt for the real needs of Palestinians. The Hezbollah for ex. turn their head away from the plight of Palestinians who live under Apartheid in Lebanon."
