It Ain’t Funny, Mohammed

There is a troupe of Muslim comedians who have been touring the South to counter the stereotypical view of Muslims. They contend that these stereotypes are the core of the cancer that is American Islamophobia. All the shows are free and it is a national tour with heavy publicity. Should there be a follow-the-money question about who is paying the hundred thousand dollars for the propaganda tour?

But there is a great deal of truth about the idea of a stereotype. The true stereotype of Islam is Mohammed. He is declared in 91 verses in the Koran to be the divine human prototype, the perfect being and the sacred model of a pious life. We find him in the Sira (his biography) and the Hadith (his traditions). Guess what? There is a doctrine of humor to found in Islamic doctrine. This should be no surprise, given that the Islamic doctrine is the basis for their civilization.

Here are some of the moments of laughter in Mohammed’s life take from the Hadith and the Sira:

Muslim 031, 5932: … [At the battle of Uhud]… Mohammed said to Saed: Shoot an arrow, may my mother and father be taken as ransom for you. Saed drew an arrow and shot a featherless arrow at the Meccan’s side and he fell down and his private parts were exposed. I saw Mohammed’s front teeth when he laughed.

Muslim 019, 4450: … I said: Mohammed, let me select from our people one hundred men and I will follow the marauders and I will kill them all. Mohammed laughed so much that his molar teeth could be seen in the light of the fire, and he said: Salama, do you think you can do this? I said: Yes, ….

Bukhari 8, 74, 299: … Mohammed woke up with a smile. ‘What makes you laugh, O Allah’s Apostle?’ He said, ‘In my dream some Muslims were displayed before me as jihadists sailing over this sea, like kings on thrones.’

Umayya: ‘Now I had bound my prisoner’s thumbs with my bowstring, and when Mohammed looked at him he laughed so that one could see his back teeth. He asked my news and when I told him how I had killed a Kafir by pushing my bow through his eye into his brain, he blessed me.’ [1]

By God, we only met some bald old women like the sacrificial camels who are hobbled, and we slaughtered them!’ The apostle smiled and said, ‘But, nephew, those were the Kafir chiefs.’ [2]

‘Mohammed, what makes the Lord laugh with joy at His servant?’ Mohammed answered, ‘When he plunges into the midst of the enemy without armor.’ Auf drew off his armor and threw it away: then he seized his sword and fought the enemy till he was slain. [3]

A common phrase from both the Koran and Mohammed is:

Bukhari 8, 76, 492: Mohammed said, “If you knew what I know you would laugh little and weep much.”

We can see that what makes Mohammed laugh a little, makes us weep much. And what makes Mohammed laugh in these quotes? Brutality and cruelty to Kafirs made Mohammed laugh and smile.

Mohammed found cruelty to Kafirs funny, but we Kafirs had better never find anything about Mohammed humorous. Have you ever heard a Mohammed joke? There are Jesus jokes, Moses jokes, God jokes and Saint Peter jokes, but in 1400 years there has never been a Mohammed joke. Why? Why isn’t Mohammed funny? There are no Mohammed jokes because of the Islamic reasoning or logic. Islamic reasoning is pure authoritarian.

But there is an even better reason that we don’t have any Mohammed jokes. Jokes point out our errors and flaws. There are 91 Koran verses that say that Mohammed is the perfect man to be followed in the smallest detail by all Muslims at all times. If Mohammed is not perfect, then why imitate him? If the joke points out error or flaws, then the keystone of Islam is flawed. The joke performs the logical task of isolating error. If the joke is based on any reality (and they all are, or they would not be funny) then Mohammed has flaws. That would mean that a Muslim has to start using reasoning to sort out Mohammed’s errors. So the joke destroys the entire edifice of authoritarian reasoning and opens up Islam to critical thought. Since Mohammed must remain the perfect pattern, then no jokes may be allowed.

Humor is an excellent acid test for the type of reasoning that is used. Authoritarian systems never allow humor directed at the authorities. Nobody told Stalin jokes. Joke:

An American was visiting a Russian during the Cold War. They fell to arguing about who had the better political system. The American said, “Let me show how good American politics are.” He tore out a photo of Nixon in a magazine and threw it into the trash and said, “To hell with Nixon. Can you do that?”

The Russian said, “Sure.” And he took the photo of Nixon, wadded it up and threw it out the window and yelled to the world, “To hell with Nixon.” Then he said, “See, we Soviets can do that better than you!”

Authoritative reasoning systems are based on suppression of thought that is not accepted by the Establishment and always have force and punishment in the background. To see authoritative thought in America, go to any college classroom and try for an open discussion of race. Try talking about minority crime, poverty and classroom failures as being the responsibility of the minority.

The Kafir world has a better thought system—critical thought (also: scientific thought). Critical thought loves humor for the reason that all opinions are welcome in critical thought. The idea may not be provable, but you can bring up for discussion.

We see this in political cartoons. One of the triumphs of America during this Obama presidency is that he gets cracked as hard in political cartoons as Bush.

What about a Mohammed cartoon? Oops! That does not work so well. Remember the Mohammed cartoons? People died in riots. Then Mollie Norris of Seattle, WA came up with idea of “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day”. She is now in hiding from death threats. That’s that the Islamic authoritarian reasoning at work.

We got to see Islamic authoritarian reasoning against intellectuals and artists in the death fatwa as Salman Rushdie (author), the murder of: Pym Fortune (an artist and politician), Theo van Gogh (film director and TV personality), Daniel Pearl (newspaper reporter) and other artist/critics for 1400 years. Assassination of artists who criticize Mohammed is pure Islam. Mohammed repeatedly sent out assassins against the artists and intellectuals of his day who criticized and satirized him.

What is the response of the authoritarian media/university/government Establishment today to critical thought about Islam? Those who are critical about Islamic doctrine and history are called immoral bigots, Islamophobes, haters and worse. Why does our Establishment love Islam so much? One authoritarian recognizes another authoritarian. It is a matter of professional courtesy–the same reason that sharks don’t bite lawyers.

The Establishment will not help us, but will only pick up Islam’s complaints and bludgeon us as bigots because we do not agree on an intellectual point. We have to be ideological warriors and bring the truth of Islamic doctrine and political history, which is not funny in any way, to those who have an ear to hear.

But take heart, kind souls, there is at least one form of humor that the Muslim comedy troupe won’t be telling, fart jokes:

Bukhari 8, 73, 68: Mohammed forbade laughing at a person who passes wind, …

So tell me, if you cannot crack fart jokes, how do Muslim males ever get through youth? (For the guys—pull my finger.)

Thank you for the clarification. I see that the “badu” (Bedouin?) was an innocent, one-eyed shepherd whom Muhammad’s henchman murdered in his sleep in the gruesome manner described.

Speaking of gruesome, Guillaume’s translation into English appears to be another series of atrocities, this time against graceful expression: “took the highroad like an eagle hastening until I came out at a village.” That’s barely English.

In 2011, the BBC broadcast a 3-hour miniseries of the life of Muhammad. Was it a whitewash?

I used the “Look Inside” feature on Amazon to check the quote on page 675 of The Life of Muhammad (Guillaume trans.). I found this: “He asked my news and when I told him what had happened he blessed me.”

But Bill Warner quoted the same book, same page, same paragraph this way: “He asked my news and when I told him how I had killed a Kafir by pushing my bow through his eye into his brain, he blessed me.”

    Why the discrepancy?

My mistake was to use quotes. The full quote is:
I won’t be a Muslim as long as I live,
Nor heed to their religion give.

I said (to myself), ‘You will soon know!’ and as soon as the badu was asleep and snoring I got up and killed him in a more horrible way than any man has been killed. I put the end of my bow in his sound eye, then I bore down on it until I forced it out at the back of his neck. Then I came out like a beast of prey and took the highroad like an eagle hastening until I came out at a village which, (said the narrator), he described; then to Rakuba and al-Naqi’ where suddenly there appeared two Meccans whom Quraysh had sent to spy on the apostle. I recognized them and called on them to surrender, and when they refused I shot one and killed him, and the other surrendered. I bound him and took him to the apostle.
Ibn Ishaq from Sulayman b. Wardan from his father from ‘Amr b.
Umayya: ‘When I got to Medina I passed some shaykhs of the Ansar and, when they exclaimed at me some young men heard my name and ran to tell the apostle. Now I had bound my prisoner’s thumbs with my bowstring, and when the apostle looked at him he laughed so that one could see his back teeth. He asked my news and when I told him what had happened he blessed me’

    Dr. Moshen El-Guindy,

“Bill Warner, if you treat Allah’s signs in the wrong spirit, i.e. contumaciously rejecting them, or constantly disputing about them, instead of trying to understand them, you are told that such tactics will avail you nothing. You cannot escape the consequences of your sins.”

And those who dispute concerning Our Signs may know they have no asylum (Al-Shura, 35).

What exactly will be the consequences of Mr. Warner’s “sins,” good doctor.

    Ebbtideflowing,

While I’m still waiting for your Muslim “brother” El-Guindy to summon up the courage to share his thoughts to ‘enlighten me’ about the following mainstream areas of Islam, perhaps you would like to answer these questions?

    1. Who was responsible for the attacks of 9/11 against America?
    2. Do you agree with Islamic Sharia-compliant Mu’ta Marriages (Sharia-approved adultery)?
    3. Do you feel it is appropriate for Muslim men to throw acid in the faces of Muslim women for not following Muslim dress codes?
    4. Are you willing to denounce Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, and Hamas as terrorist organizations?
    5. Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Muslim Brotherhood?
    6. Do you support the destruction of the American Constitution and its replacement by Islamic Sharia Law?
    7. Do you feel it is appropriate for Muslim men to marry and have sex with little girls as young 6-9 years old, as did your Prophet Muhammad?
    8. Do you approve of sex with little girls as young as 2-3 years old, so long as there is no penetration?
    9. Do you approve of wife beating?”

Mohsen El-Guindy, Your soul is dark, filthy and this fact explodes in the lies you can not help to write, though I realize most of the things you write, you are just words you are repeating, but are you so far separated from God & your own humanity that you can not see the immense Pride within your own being? Why isn’t it possible for you to see the history of Death and Misery brought on by your Adopted Pride? How can a soiled covered man, so plainly viewed as such, even pretend to know about spirtiual matters? Not only have you ignored the victims of your Pride, but now you want others to believe they deserved it?

    2. Islamic Sharia-compliant Mu’ta Marriages (Sharia-approved adultery).
    3. Muslim men throwing acid in the faces of Muslim women.

Perhaps you are willing to denounce Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, and Hamas as terrorist organizations?

Dr. Mohsen El-Guindy repeating falsehoods millions of times doesn’t make them true, nor do the number of people who believe in those falsehoods.

Your assertion “Muhammad “is not just an ordinary man but the one chosen to deliver the last Testament to the world – Islam” is based solely on your assumption that it is true. And you assume that it is true because you have been brainwashed to believe so.

That Muhammad is not to be mocked at is because he was a demagogue – a leader who made use of popular prejudices and false claims and promises in order to gain power.

He restricted the ability of people to criticise him by making it dangerous to do so. This was done by passing laws whereby criticising Muhammad and what he preached (Islam) was made punishable by death. It was also done by so rousing his followers that they will try to harm anyone who disagrees with them.

Demagoguery is polarizing propaganda that motivates members of an ingroup (The Muslim brotherhood or Ummah) to hate and scapegoat the outgroups (Kafirs, non-believers), by promising certainty, stability, what Erich Fromm called “an escape from freedom”

People have a huge capacity to be deluded by others and themselves. There was one Stanley Milgram, who conducted experiments which were the basis of his book “Obedience to Authority: An Experimental View”.

He states “the essence of obedience consists in the fact that a person comes to view themselves as the instrument for carrying out another person’s wishes, and they therefore no longer see themselves as responsible for their actions. Once this critical shift of viewpoint has occurred in the person, all of the essential features of obedience follow”

In obedience you follow the wishes of the person in authority telling you to do something or to behave in a specific way. You may not want to do this but, regardless of your personal views, as you are in a lower rank to the person ordering you have to carry these activities out, (such as bending 5 times a day towards Mecca etc).

As for me I am the product of a free society, a free people and a free family. Like Lord Byron standing on the Persian’s grave, I cannot deem myself a slave.

Dr. Mohsen El-Guindy “If the Koran, the one unchangeable Book through the years is not true, then what is true?”

So many things are true. I am alive and well today. I like music and sports. They are just true. The Koran being true or false has nothing to do with truths we can see and feel. The Koran is false simply because it is full of falsehoods and lies.

Those that open their eyes can see them.

    El-Guindy,

You have failed to respond in any meaningful way at all to my many requests for your thoughts on the attacks of 9/11, Islamic Sharia-compliant Mu’ta Marriages (Sharia-approved adultery), and now I am asking you to comment on this shocking article that I copied from Robert Spencer’s website http://www.jihadwatch.org today. My question to you, El-Guindy, concerning this article is this, do you think that it was fine for Muslims to throw acid in the faces of these women for not covering their heads? Is this how Muslim men honor and respect their women?

FAISALABAD: A total of seven women suffered acid attacks in the past two days in Faisalabad in separate incidents.
According to police officials, a first-year student suffered serious burns after being attacked in the limits of Police Station City Jaranwala. First year student Tayyiba was on her way back home from a local tuition academy when students Ali Raza and Hamza allegedly chased her and threatened her life.

“Both boys go to the same college as me and they were heckling me for not wearing a dupatta on my head. They tried to grab me and when I yelled at them they attacked me with acid,” Tayyiba told police officials before being admitted to the hospital. “She said that both men had said she ‘deserved for her face to be ruined because she had not covered her head’,” Station House Officer Malik Zafar Iqbal said.

The victim’s parents filed a complaint and approached the parents of the accused. “Instead of asking for forgiveness they opened fire on us and we barely managed to escape,” Tayyiba’s father Asad said. Area police filed a case on the report of Adnan, a brother of the victim, after having registered a case against the accused under Section 324, 511, & 34 PPC but no arrest has been madeso [sic] far. In another incident, a man and his two friends allegedly threw acid at his wife and five other women from her family. According to police officials, Chak 132 GB Dijkot resident Umar Hayat attacked his wife Nabila and five women of her family after she refused to leave with him. “The couple had quarrelled after he beat her several times. She came home saying she feared for her life and when he came to take her back she refused to leave,” Nabila’s father Muhammad Munir said. “He told her he would never hit her again if she left with him and when she refused he threw acid on her and all the other women,” he added.

Umar also attacked five women of Nabila’s family, who refused to let him take her from their house near the Nawan police station. Neighbours said that Umar Hayat had made several attempts to reconcile with his wife Nabila and had also approached elders and a Panchayat to intervene on his behalf.

“She refused to return with him. She kept saying that he beat her and that she did not want to put her life in danger,” a neighbour Manzoor said. On Thursday night, Umar Hayat, along with two of his accomplices, forced entry into the house of his in-laws by breaking the door when the family were asleep. Hayat sprayed acid on his wife Nabila, sisters-in-law Shakila Munir and Razia, mother in-law Riaz Bibi and Nazia, the wife of his brother in-law. The victims sustained serious injuries to their face and bodies.

All the burnt victims have been admitted to the Gojra Civil Hospital and are reportedly in serious condition. Three of the victims have sustained over 80 percent burns and are in critical condition.

“Three women are in critical condition and their faces have been completely burnt but the others are in recovery and have been admitted to the burns unit,” said Dr Rizwan Basheer. The condition of Skakila Munir is stated to be serious and she has been shifted to Allied Hospital….

If the Koran, the one unchangeable Book through the years is not true, then what is true? The man made 250 gospels you previously had, then were reduced to 5 or 6 gospels, each written by a historian. Gospels different from each other and not authentic! Which is the true one, that of Paul of Tarsas, or that of Luke, or that of Peter, or that of John?

And what do these corrupted gospels talk about? Trinity! Jesus cricifixtion! Original sin! Vicarious atonement! Things the Koran rejected completely.

The Koran is the only Book in the world now that has no author. Muhammad was illiterate. Allah is the author. This is the miracle of the Koran. Can you grasp this fact and digest it, or your poor mind find it hard to believe.

The Koran came to warn you that Allah your Creator, will never accept being worshipped as one in three or three in one. Associating with Allah other deities (Jesus as son or lord) is the most henious sin He never fprgives. Can you do something about that Mr. knowhow? Or you would rather prefer to grope around in the dark until your day comes! And here there is no return to the worldly life to correct or make amends.

Poor guy, you are so pathetic. I pity you.

    Richard

Muhammad is not to be mocked at. He is not just an ordinary man but the one chosen to deliver the last Testament to the world – Islam. He was chosen to bring good tidings to the believers, and a severe warning to the unbelievers. He was chosen to re-establish the Oneness of Allah (Islamic monotheism), the religion of Abraham, which was obliterated by the polytheists.

Man is not free to talk sarcastically about Prophets, their Messages or the Books they brought. If they do that, they are but mocking at the divine will of Allah that chose them to take humanity from darkness to light.

Islam is not to be fought, because it flourishes when it is attacked. The
divine help which was given to Muhammad in his struggle against his foe and which is still persisting with Muslims until the end of time, deserves much emphasis. This overwhelming divine help shows clearly how Islam survived in a very hostile environment. It also demonstrates the fact that Islam will always be victorious over its enemies. Yes, Allah is not to be fought but to submit to and follow His orders blindly. And why not, His orders are wise, rational and hence not subject to discussion or arguing.

The life of Muhammad was a great big miracle. In addition to the miracle of the Koran, and the night journey to Jerusalem, the raising up of all Prophets who came before him including Jesus to line up behind him in order to be led in prayer by Muhammad, his ascension to the seventh heaven to meet his Lord, Allah also showered the Prophet with divine help in all his battles against his enemies.

In Badr battle the Muslims were few in number (300) and very poorly prepared for war. They were unable to defend themselves against the pagan idolaters (1000 warriors heavily armed). Allah provided the Muslims with 5000 angels to fight with them.

Allah says in the Koran about this divine help:

And Allah most surely helped you at badr, when you were utterly abject. So fear Allah, and haply you will be thankful. When thou saidst to the believers, ‘Is it not enough for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down upon you?
Yea; if you are patient, and godfearing, and the foe come against you instantly, your lord will reinforce you with five thousand swooping angels,’ Allah wrought this not, save as good tiding to you, and that your hearts might be at rest; help comes only from Allah the All-Mighty, the All-Wise; and that He might cut off a part of the unbelievers or frustrate them, so that they turned in their tracks disappointed (Al-Imran 123-127).

In the battle of Hunain when Muslims relied on their great numbers and thought they were more powerful than their enemy and were going to win the battle quite easily, but they were about t be defeated when the enemy ambushed them and fell upon them with fury and caused havoc in their lines and ranks. Muslims were slain and many turned back in confusion and retreat. There and then did Allah inspire peace and tranquilty to the heart of His Messenger and the faithful troops, and He sent down an invisible array of angels to assail the enemies and put them to rout. Allah inflicted them with punishment in requital of their infidelity.

    Allah says:

Allah has already helped you on many fields, and on the day of Hunain, when your multitude was pleasing to you, but it availed you naught, and the land for all its breadth was strait for you, and you turned about retreating.
Then Allah sent down upon His Messenger His Sakinah (tranquility) and upon the believers, and sent down forces (angels) which you saw not, and He chastised the unbelievers; and that is the recompense of the unbelievers (Al-Tawbah 25, 26).

The Madinah was put under seige by the pagan idolaters. They came with a force of ten to twelve thousand fighting men, an unprecedented army for that time and country. The battle is known as the Battle of the Trench. The Muslims dug a trench around Madinah to prevent the enemy from entering it.
The Medinah fighting strength was no more than 3000, and the Jewish tribe of Bani Quraizah who were in their midst was a source of weakness as they were treacherously intriguing with the enemy, and further were the hypocrites.
But there were hidden forces that helped the Muslims. Allah sent against the Arab idolaters a fierce wind and invisible forces whom none could see. The Arab idolaters faced a piercing blast of the cold east wind. The enemy’s tents were torn up, their fires were extinguished, the sand and rain beat in their faces, and they were terrified by the portents against them. They had already well nigh fallen out amongst themselves, and beating a hasty retreat, they melted away.

O believers, remember Allah’s blessing upon you when hosts came against you, and We loosed against them a wind, and hosts you saw not; and Allah sees the things you do.
When they came against you from above you and from below you, and when your eyes swerved and your hearts reached your throats, while you thought thoughts about Allah; there it was that the believers were tried, and shaken most mightily (Al-Ahzab 9-11).

This overwhelming divine help shows clearly that Muhammad was but executing Allah’s will and plan. If we read the tradition of the Prophet we can see that the archangel Gabrael was always with him providing him with divine support.

Richard and others claim that Muhammad killed those who mocked at him. Here is the complete story.

The Jews of Medina were fierce enemies of Islam, waiting for every chance to deal a devastating blow to Muslims. Despite the fact that the Prophet made a treaty with the Jews when he first arrived in Medina, which stipulated that the Jews would support the Muslims in any fight against any enemy who threatened the Muslims in Medina, it was soon become clear that the Jews had no intention of putting that provision into effect. Their hatred of Islam was because the Prophet himself was not Jewish.

When they realized that the Muslims had achieved a great victory over the unbelievers at the battle of Badr, they felt sorry for the unbelievers and felt insecure in Medina. Hence the Jews gave every indication that they considered their peace treaty with the Prophet broken. They started unashamedly a barrage of ridicule against the Prophet. No kindness or generous treatment on the part of the prophet would seem to satisfy them. They caused their poets to use their influence to sow sedition among the Muslims and ridicule their victory at the battle of Badr. One of their distinguished poets, called Ka’b ibn al Ashraf, of the Bani An-Nadir tribe, spared no efforts in publicly deploring the ill success of the idolaters after their defeat at Badr. By his satires against the Prophet and his disciples, and his elegies on the Makkans who had fallen at Badr, Ka’b succeeded in exciting the tribe of Quraish to that frenzy of vengeance which resulted into the battle of Uhud at which Muslims were defeated. He then returned to Medina, where he continued to attack the Prophet and the Muslims, men and women, in terms of the most obscene character. He composed poetic verses against Muhammad linked to curses. Given the fact that everyone believed in the supernatural power of curses, the Prophet was not inclined to ignore this attack.

Another Jew, Sallam by name, of the same tribe, behaved equally fiercely and bitterly against the Prophet. He made every effort to excite the neighboring Arab tribes against the Muslims.

The Jews soon broke off and ranged themselves with the enemies of Islam. They did not hesitate to declare openly that they preferred idolatry, with its attendant evils, to the faith of Islam.

    The Koran reports their treachery:

You see many of them making alliance with the idolaters. Evil is that which their souls have forwarded for themselves, for they have incurred the wrath of Allah, and in chastisement they shall dwell forever-
Had they believed in Allah and the Prophet and what had been revealed to him, they would never had taken the idolaters for allies, but most of them are rebellious (Al -Maida 80, 81).

The Jews created disaffection among the Muslims and slandered the Prophet and his adherents. They mispronounced the words of the Koran so as to give them an offensive meaning. The Koran says in this connection:

Of the Jews some pervert words from their meanings, saying, “We have heard and we disobey, and hear, may you not be heard, and ra’aina (an ambiguous word they used in its insulting sense).” Distorting with their tongues and taunting at religion, and if they had said, we have heard and we obey, and hearken and regard us, it would have been better for them and more correct, but Allah has cursed them for their blasphemy, so a few only will believe among them (An-Nisa 46).

The Prophet had therefore to keep an eye on his enemies outside Medina, on the one hand, and those within the city on the other. The Makkans who had sworn Muhammad’s death were well acquainted- thanks to the party of hypocrites and of the Jews at Medina- with the real forces of the Muslims. They also knew that the Jews had accepted Muhammad’s alliance only from motives of temporary expedience and that they would break away from him to join the idolaters as soon as the latter showed themselves in the vicinity of Medina.

The safety of the state required the proscription of the hypocrites who were giving secret information to the common enemy. About six men were executed for high treason of this nature. The Muslim common wealth with the object of securing safety among the community also passed a sentence of outlawry upon Ka’b and Sallam.

Treachery in war is doubly wrong, for it endangers so many lives. Such treachery should be punished in such a way that it gets no chance again. Not only the actual perpetrators but those who follow their steps should also be rendered powerless. And the broken treatment should be denounced. A truce or understanding is possible with those who respect its definite articles and terms, not with those who have no keeping or word and are merely out for oppression and wickedness.

The worst of living creatures before Allah are those who disbelieve. Those who counsel deaf to divine discourse and disavow Allah. They are those with whom Muhammad made a covenant, but they broke their covenant every time. Allah ordered Muslims that wherever they meet them in an active hostile contention to reduce them into a useles form. This would serve as a lesson to those who attempt thereafter to betray Muslims or war against them. And if MUhammad fears treachery from any people with whom he had concluded a peace treaty, then he must inform them that he has cancelled his vow just the same, for Allah detest the treacherous.

Surely the worst of beasts in Allah’s sight are the unbelievers, who will not believe, those of them with whom thou hast made compact then they break their compact every time, not being godfearing.
So, if thou comest upon them anywhere in the war, deal with them in such wise as to scatter the ones behind them; haply they will remember.
And if thou fearest treachery any way at the hands of the people, dissolve it with them equally; surely Allah loves not the treacherous (Al-Anfal 55-58).

From the above we can understand that the Prophet was not to turn the other cheek to the enemy, but he is a mighty Prophet that was provided with devine strength in order to promulgate the last Word of Allah, to all mankind.

From one man, weak and lonely, the light of Islam spread out to the whole world. Alone he was able to overcome all difficulties, and to fight the most hostile Arab idolaters of his time. This would never have happened unless Allah supported him with divine power.

    the Prophet said:

“I have been given five (things) which were not given to anyone else before me.” :

    a) Allah made me victorious by awe (Allah frightening the Prophet’s enemies) for a distance of one month’s journey.

    b) The earth has been made for me (and his followers) a place for praying and a thing to purify (perform Tayammum), therefore anyone of my followers can pray wherever he is, at the time of a prayer.

    c) The booty has been made Halāl (lawful) to me yet it was not lawful to anyone before me.

    d) I have been given the right to intercession (on the day of Resurrection).

    e) Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only, but I have been sent to all mankind.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol. 1, Hadith No. 331).

Richard, sure it is a monstous thing you are saying about Muhammad – peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

You have so deadened your faculties of reason that they do not work. They are as it were, made for Hell.

As we read in the Koran:

Or deemest thou that most of them hear or understand? They are but as the cattle; nay, they are further astray from the way (Al-Furqan, 44).

Those who defy or challenge Allah and His Apostle have come within the measure of Allah’s wrath and have incurred Allah’s curse here and herafter, and there awaits them the torment that is laid upon the damned.

    The Koran says:

Those who hurt Allah and His Messenger – them Allah has cursed in the present world and the world to come, and has prepared for them a humiliating chastisement (Al-Ahzab, 57).

The Prophet you are slandering, Allah and His angels from above seven skies honor and bless him as the greatest of men. We are asked to honor and bless him all the more because he took upon himself to suffer the sorrow and aflictions of this life in order to guide us to Allah’s mercy and the highest inner life.

    The Koran says:

Allah and His angels bless the Prtophet. O believers, do you also bless him, and pray him peace (Al-Ahzab, 56).

The Prophet shall be continually rewarded for relating Allah’s Message and for the suffering he endured. The Prophet is a man of distinguished character; excellent repute and distinct mental and moral constitution.

The Prophet of Allah had been raised to a great spiritual dignity, a reward that was not like an earthly reward that passes away. He was granted a nature and character far above the shafts of grief or suffering, slander or persecution.

Allah says about the character of muhammad in the Koran:

Surely thou art upon a mighty morality (Al-Qakam, 4).

In the hereafter the Prophet will have a great reward:

Surely thou shalt have a wage unfailing (Al-Qalam, 3).

As I said before in one of my articles, Allah has disposed to the abode of Hell many of the jinn and man whom He had foreknown that they would be born to be losers; they carry hearts stigmatized by dullness of comprehension, and eyes which lack perception, and they have no ears for admonition. They are like cattle, in fact even worse. These are the heedless of all truth. The only path they see is that path that leads to the loss in the maze of error.

Allah says in His last Testament to the world:

We have created for Hell many jinn and men; they have hearts wherewith they understand not, and they have eyes wherewith they see not, and they have ears wherewith they hear not (the truth). They are like cattle; nay, rather they are further astray. Those they are the heddless (Al-A’raf, 179).

Prophet Muhammad was able to establish the kingdom of Allah on earth within a brief span of twenty three years. This tremendous success would never have been achieved unless Allah, the Creator of the universe, provided the Prophet with divine support.

The Prophet in Medina ruled and gave laws. He was gifted the Koran, the unified Book that stood the test of time. A Book that has a vaster scope than the Pages of Abraham, the Torah of Moses, the Psalms of David, and the Gospel of Jesus. Allah also honored him by being the seal of the prophets.

Islam came to exist and prevail. Islam came to live and flourish. This is why Muhammad was given the divine power to establish Islam, the only religion accepted by Allah. It was the will of Allah that the seal of the prophets comes to revive the religion of Abraham which calls for the Oneness of Allah and total submission to Him in Islam.

Allah, Almighty, provided Muhammad with a divine power to conquer his enemies and extend Islam in a world burdened by impiety, ungodliness, atheism, polytheism and persecution.

The men to whom Allah’s Truth has been committed for promulgation will be asked in the Hereafter how the Truth fared in the world, how it was received, who opposed it, and who assisted it. Like all trustees they will have to give a full account of their trust. Allah knows all, and it will not add to His knowledge. But it will be evidence for and against those to whom it was preached, so that the responsibility of those who dishonored it may be duly enforced. The primary custodians of spiritual Truth are the Prophets, but in descending degrees all men to whom Allah’s Message comes are included.

I am not here to defend Islam, the religion speaks for itself. Islam is a world religion with one billion and five hundred million adherents. Islam firmly established itself throughout the years and created a civilization which stretched from one end of the globe to the other. I am only here to explain true Islam to those deluded.

Dr. Mohsen El-Guindy reading through your carefully selected quotes from the Koran, I find this one:

“Help your brother WHETHER HE IS AN OPPRESSOR OR HE IS OPPRESSED.”

Your “brother” over here is a fellow Muslim. Help him while he is oppressing others.

Compare this with the Christian love your neighbour as yourself – the neighbour being any stranger lying on the street who needs your help.

What a flawed morality you have been given. But you cant reason it out for yourself because in your brainwashed mind you say – this is what ‘Allah” wants us to do, so it must be right.

    @ Dr Mohsen El-Guindy:

“The Koran is not just another book to be read but the Last Testament to the world. The Koran must be read with a pure clean heart devoid of prejudice, bias or preconceived notion THAT THE KORAN IS NOT A DIVINE BOOK AND THAT MUHAMMAD HAS INVENTED IT. THE READER MUST BE SURE THAT HE IS READING THE WORD OF HIS CREATOR, ALLAH ..”

So badly have you been brainwashed and so much have you sunk into the depths of self-deception that do you even realise what you are saying?

You are advocating nothing but a blind prejudice in favour of your belief.

A person who before reading the Koran is “SURE THAT HE IS READING THE WORD OF HIS CREATOR, ALLAH” makes a preconceived assumption about the Koran and has formed an (extraordinary) opinion about it before having the knowledge to be able to do so.

With such an opinion you will reject any evidence that goes against your preconceived beliefs.

You are saying that first you must implicitly believe that the Koran is a divine book given straight from Allah and then only will you NOT be lost “in a maze of error”. (Read then only will you NOT find any error in the Koran).

Because now having deluded yourself to believe your false, unvalidated idea is true you happily go about rejecting all evidence that contradicts your beliefs.

And this is how Muslims are deluded. From birth they are taught to believe the Koran is the word of “their creator Allah”.

I wont go further in the rest of the rubbish you have written as it is based on the notion “The Koran is true and this is what the Koran says (ignoring all the bad things)”

    Ernest

I still say that you people are still far away from understanding the Koran. The Koran is not just another book to be read but the Last Testament to the world. The Koran must be read with a pure clean heart devoid of prejudice, bias or preconceived notion that the Koran is not a divine Book and that Muhammad has invented it. The reader must be sure that he is reading the Word of His Creator, Allah, and not a moon god or a monkey god as the hate mongers falsely claim. The intention of the reader must be to seek the truth in order to reach guidance and not to find verses that if twisted may serve his own satanic desires and whims. According to the intention of the reader, the Koran may take him to guidance or make him completely lost in the maze of error, and here a reader with bad intentions will bear the sin of knowing the truth but he rejected it knowingly.

Well, Erick, until you read the Koran with a pure heart seeking the truth don’t say, “We know your Koran very well so don’t say we are ignorant,” especially when you realize that we haven’t seen from your reading of the Koran nothing but belying and false accusations..

The problem with the Jews, the Christians and the non-Muslims in general, is that they think that the Koran in the invention of Muhammad, so they give themselves the right to mock at the religion, belie the Koran, tamper with its verses and slander the Prophet. We Muslims wouldn’t dare make any concessions or tamper with the words of the Koran because they were warned of a severe torment if they change the words from their meanings or take them out of their context. What Allah said we promulgate to the people without any deviation. If people accept it, it is for their own gain, if not, it is for their own loss.

    Allah says in the Koran:
“And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can alter His words, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.” [Quran 6: 115].

Muslims will never be apologetic about their religion because they didn’t invent one single word of it. The religion of Islam is all divine, and the Koran is word by word the final Message of Allah to His seal of the prophets Muhammad.

Allah’s word to Muhammad is universal. Muhammad was sent to the whole world and not just to a sect or certain people as happened with all other prophets before him.

Kafir is a subject based on the verb Kufr. One who commits Kufr is Kafir. Kufr in Arabic dictionary bears three meanings:

To conceal, to be ungrateful, to deny or to reject.

The word Kafir has been used in all these three meanings in the Koran.
Concealment is associated with possession and endowment. One who possesses nothing precious has no need to hide. The Word of Allah, the Knowledge given by Him is a most valuable asset a man may possess. All along in the history of mankind, men of knowledge have been concealing from masses the Knowledge they possess so as to exploit them in the name of religion.

Gratefulness and ungratefulness are also associated with prize, endowment and bestowment. The servants of Allah had to be grateful to Him because He sent them the Koran in order to take them from darkness to light. If their lives do not bear witness to the teachings of Islam and the Koran, then they are becoming ungrateful or Kafir in Arabic.

Denial or rejection is essentially linked to an order or request or an offer. You cannot deny or reject anything unless an offer has been made to you or you have been ordered or requested something. If I ask someone to bring me a glass of water and he rejects my request I can say that he has rejected my request or denied it. Similarly, if the Last Testament (the Koran) has been sent to and after you read it you denied or rejected it, so you are also kafir.

All three (concealment, denial and ungratefulness) amount in the Koran to blasphemy.

It is is an undisputable fact that prior to the Koran, all the previous scriptures revealed by Allah could not remain safe from human interpolation. Those who made changes in the Word of Alah were Kafir. It is also a verifiable truth that among all scriptures, claiming to be Word of Allah, only the Koran is unaltered to the last word and letter.

This is the biggest endowment of Allah to the mankind that Muslims claim to possess. This wealth was sent for the whole of mankind.

The Koran teaches that those who conceal Allah’s revelations in the Torah and exchange the truth for a miserable profit simply consume nothing but fire in their bellies. Allah shall ignore them on the Day of Judgment, He shall not absolve them from guilt and they shall be put to the torment.

Those who conceal what in the Book Allah has sent down on them, and sell it for a little price – they shall eat naught but the Fire in their bellies; Allah shall not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection; neither purify them; there awaits them a painful chastisement.
Those are they that have bought error at the price of guidance, and chastisement at the price of pardon; how patiently they shall endure the Fire! (Al-Baqarah 174, 175).

Allah gave Moses the Torah, but his people were disputant about it. And had it not been for Allah’s word which was proclaimed beforehand to put punishment in respite, their hereafter would have been planted in the now.

And We gave Moses the Book; and there was difference regarding it, and but for a word that preceded from thy Lord, it had been decided between them; and they are in doubt of it disquieting (Hud, 110).

In the Quran, Allaah Almighty informs us that the Torah was changed; He Says:

“So woe to those who write the “scripture” with their own hands, then say, “This is from Allah,” in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.” [Quran 2:79]
People of the Book! Why do you confound the truth with falsehood and conceal the truth knowingly? (3:71)

The Council of Nicea took place in 325 A.D. by the order of the Roman Emperor Caesar Flavius Constantine. Nicea was located in Asia Minor, east of Constantinople. At the Council of Nicea, Emperor Constantine presided over a group of Church bishops and leaders with the purpose of defining the true God for all of Christianity and eliminating all the confusion, controversy, and contention within Christ’s church.

Jesus Christ never once in his gospel, claimed to be ‘The Only Begotten Son of God’. On the contrary, to emphasize his human origin he always referred to himself as ‘son of man’. Those who hide this truth are Kafir in the eyes of Qur’an.

They say Allah has taken to Him a son.’ Glory be to Him. He is all-sufficient; to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth; you have no authority for this. Do you say concerning God what you do not know? (10:68)

Allah assured Muhammad and the whole world that Jesus is not His son, but he was the son of Mary.

That is Jesus, son of Mary, in word of truth, concerning which they are doubting. It is not for God to take a son unto Him. Glory be to Him! When He decrees a thing. He but says to it “Be”. and it is. (19:34-5)

After this strong statement about the nature of Jesus, Allah directed Muhammad to call the Christians to a fair deal: to worship the one God:

Surely Allah is my Lord, and your Lord, so serve Him. This is the straight path. (19:38).

The rejection of the idea of God having a son is also reported in another verse:

And they say, ‘The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son.’ You have indeed advanced something hideous. The heavens are well nigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains well nigh fall down crashing for that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; and it behooves not the All-merciful to take a son. None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant. (19:88-93).

The Qur’an recognizes the fact that Jesus had no human father but this does not make him the son of God or God Himself. By this criterion Adam would have been more entitled to be the son of God because he had neither a father nor a mother. So the Qur’an draws attention to the miraculous creation of both in the following verse:

Truly the likeness of Jesus, in God’s sight, is as Adam’s likeness; He created him of dust. then said He unto him, “Be”, and he was. (3:59)

The Koran rejects the concept of the Trinity as strongly as it rejects the Son ship of Jesus. This is because Allah is One. This is the essence of all monotheistic revelations. Three, by reason and by simple arithmetic, are not one. The Qur’an addresses the Christians in the following verses:

People of the Book, go not beyond the bounds in your religion, and say not as to God but the Truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only the Messenger of God, and His Word that He committed to Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His Messengers, and say not, ‘Three’. Refrain. better is it for you. God is only One God. Glory be to Him ” that He should have a son! To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth, God suffices for a guardian.
The Messiah will not disdain to be a servant of God, neither the angels who are close to Him. Whosoever disdains to serve Him and waxes proud. He will assuredly muster them to Him, all of them.

The oneness and universality of God’s message requires that people accept all the messengers of God. Rejecting one of them amounts to rejecting them all. The Jews reject Jesus’ mission and Muhammad’s mission; the Christians reject Muhammad’s mission; whereas the Muslims accept them all, but reject incorrect historical interpretations and human elements in these missions.

Jesus foretold the coming of Muhammad after him.

And when Jesus son of Mary said. ‘children of Israel. I am indeed the Messenger to you, confirming the Torah that is before me, and giving good tidings of a Messenger who shall come after me, whose name shall be the praised one (note that this is translation of Ahmad which is Prophet Muhammad’s name). (61:6)

The messenger of whom Jesus gave glad tidings is referred to in both the Old and new Testaments of the Bible. The Old Testament contains several prophecies that apply only to the Prophet Muhammad. I quote only one of those which apply to none except Prophet Muhammad. This prophecy which was addressed to Moses said that God will send among the ‘brethren’ of the Israelites, a prophet like Moses who will be a founder, a leader, and an exemplar of a community of believers. We read this in the following verses of Deut. Ch. 18:

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren; and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. And whoever will not give heed to My words which he shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him. (Deut. 18:18-20)

Anyone who is familiar with Prophet Muhammad’s life, can easily see that no one fits the above description better than Prophet Muhammad. It was Prophet Muhammad, not Jesus, who like Moses was born from ordinary parents, got married, founded a faithful community, established a great law and died a natural death.
Careful study of the New Testament shows that this same prophet is referred to by Jesus in John 14:16,17:

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Counselor, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth.

Later in John specific description of this Spirit of Truth and his role is given as we read in John 16:13,14.:
When the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify Me…

The teachings of Jesus was the same as those of all the Prophets before him: “Allah is one and serve him alone.”

    The Koran says:

When Jesus came with clear signs, he said, “Now I have come to you with wisdom and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) on which you dispute. Therefore, fear Allah and obey me. He is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him”this is a Straight Way. But sects from among themselves fell into disagreement. So woe to the wrongdoers, from the penalty of a grievous Day (43: 63-65).

To sum up, Islam considers Jesus as one of God’s great prophets. His mission was to preach the Oneness of God and to lead man to his Lord. He never claimed to be other than a servant and a Messenger of God. The Koranic account of his life and mission is supported by overwhelming evidence. The Muslims do believe in and are awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus. He will come back not as God to judge the non-Christians, but as Jesus, Allah’s servant. His coming is to correct the misconception which people have developed about his personality and his mission.

According to a saying of the Prophet Muhammad, he will stay for forty years which is going to be the happiest years of life on this earth. At that time everybody will believe in him as the messenger, not the Son of God.

The Jews concealed the verses in their Scriptures indicating the advent of Muhammad. They confined Allah to themselves and considered Him as a tribal god. They don’t believe in Jesus and his Gospel, neither do they believe in Muhammad and the Koran. They rebelled against Allah and broke their covenants with Him in many occasions, killed some of His prophets, claimed that Mary is unchaste, used usury in their transactions, and were cursed by the tongue of David and Jesus for their disobedience. All these rebellious events are indicated in the Koran.

The Christians concealed the verses in the Gospel indicating the advent of Muhammad, they deviated from the true teachings of Jesus which was purely monotheistic and invented the concept of Trinity, and the strange dogmas of vicarious atonement, crucifixion, and original sin.

The concealment of the advent of Muhammad in the Jewish Scriptures, considering Allah a tribal god to only the Jews, the Jews rejecting other revelations but their own, Killing the prophets and slandering Mary by being unchaste, using usury in their transactions, believing that they are the chosen people and that only them who will enter paradise is considered in the sight of Allah “Kufr”.

Likewise, the Christians concealing what Jesus said about the advent of Muhammad, deviating from worshipping the One and Only God, Allah, as Jesus taught them, and inventing the concept of Trinity in the council of Nicea in 325 A.D. The Council of Nicea affirmed the deity of Jesus Christ and established an official definition of the Trinity”the deity of The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit under one Godhead, in three co-equal and co-eternal Persons. The Christians further invented the strange dogmas of original sin, vicarious atonement and crucifixion. All this is also considered in the sight of Allah as “Kufr”.

It is really amazing to see the Christians shouting when reading the Koran or the Sunna of the prophet: “See, how Muslims accuse us of so and so? The point is that no one Muslim would ever dare say something on his own, but these are the words of Allah and His prophet. It is the last warning to the world. Man is free to accepted it or reject it. If he has any comments he will have the chance when he stands before Allah on the Day of Resurrection and see the torment awaiting him. Allah doesn’t accept discussions or comments, He accepts total obedience and total submission. He is the One when He wants something He just say to it “Be” and it is. This is why I always say, “Theological dialogue between Christianity and Islam will never prosper, but dialogues for accepting the other are more appropriate.”

Earnest says: “If Allah hated Kafirs so much, why did he create them in the first place? He’s not so powerful after all.”

Allah didn’t create mankind as disbelievers (Kafirs). He created them all equal, and with souls naturally accepting His worship alone – Islamic monotheism.

Natural disposition which is integral to man’s soul was created by Allah so that man may acknowledge Him as the Lord who has power over all things. Oneness of Allah is integral to man’s disposition because Allah in His infinite wisdom wished that man recognizes Him as the One and only God. This is why man was able to acknowledge his Lord before his existence on earth. This period before man was born into this world is called the pre-existential state of involuntary submission to Allah and of acknowledging Him.

The Covenant was made between Allah and His servants when He drew forth from the children of Adam – from their loins – their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves saying, “Am I not your Lord?” They said, ‘Yes, we do testify’. Allah said, “Lest you should say on the Day of Judgment: ‘Of this we were never mindful.’ ”

And when thy Lord took from the children of Adam, from their loins, their seed, and made them testify as to themselves, “Am I not your Lord?”
They said, “Yes, we testify” lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection, “As for us, we were heedless of this” or lest you say, ‘Our fathers were idolaters aforetime and we were seed after them. What, will you then destroy us for the deeds of the vain-doers “(Al-A’raf 172, 173).

Thus, mankind entered into a covenant with Allah by their affirmative answer to the question, “Am I not your Lord?” Their answer, “Yes, we testify” is engraved upon the intellect of man as a proof which reminds him of Allah’s Lordship.

Carrying this trust however is not an easy task. In order for man to be nearer to His Creator he must acquire Allah’s attributes such as piety, forgiveness, forbearance, honesty, Justice, Love, Mercy, compassion”etc.

Enjoining these attributes would draw man nearer to his Creator than is possible for any other creature of Allah. This was part of Allah’s will and plan, but little did man realize what a tremendous task he was undertaking. Because man is weak and might fail to carry the trust, Allah’s grace came to his assistance. He made the environment responsive to his needs. He further sent Messengers and Teachers for his guidance. Where man did his best he won through by Allah’s grace, even though man’s best was but a poor good. By carrying this great responsibility man became Allah’s vicegerent on earth. Man must therefore obey Allah’s Covenant with him and abide by it.

The role of the prophets then is to remind people of the Oneness of Allah which is embedded in their natural disposition from the very beginning before the descent of Adam to earth.

The Covenant between Allah and his servants is completed in this way. His servants acknowledged that Allah is their creator, Cherisher and Sustainer. This obligation follows from their nature when it is pure and uncorrupted.

The faculties in man are enough to teach him the distinction between good and evil, to warn him of the dangers that beset his life. There is therefore, no excuse for any individual to say, either that he was unmindful, or that he should not be punished for the sins of his fathers, because his punishment if any come from the personal responsibility and is for his own rejection of faith.

The Covenant made between Allah and humanity necessarily implies Trust, and its breach necessarily implies punishment.

Those who betray the trust deserve Allah’s wrath, and Hell is the recompense.
Those who remain firm to their faith and their Covenant will receive the aid of Allah’s Grace; their faults and weaknesses will be cured, and they will be made worthy of their exalted destiny, for Allah is Oft-Returning and Most -Merciful.

That Allah may chastise the hypocrites, men and women alike; and idolaters, men and women alike; and that Allah may pardon the believers, men and women alike. Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate (Al-Ahzab 70, 71, 73).

Because the covenants between Allah and his servants had been breached, and the divine Books were distorted and changed from their original form, Muhammad the seal of the prophets had to come as a last Warner to guide people to renew the old religion of Allah – pure monotheism. He came with a Book well guarded by Allah until the Day of Judgment.

The heart of Islam is the holy Koran, and the heart of the Koran is the radiant affirmation that there is no reality but Allah (God).

This (Koran) is a Message for mankind that they may be warned by it, and that they may know that He is One God, and that men possessed of minds may remember (Ibrahim, 52).

The Koran supersedes previous revelations because it came directly from Allah, and is not a second-hand book written by men after the extinction of authentic divine Books.

“And We have given thee a Remembrance (the Koran) from us (Taha, 99).

And he who rejects the Koran, not believe in it, nor acts according to its orders, shall have rejected Allah’s mercy and shall bear a heavy burden of sins on the Day of Resurrection, and shall abide in that state in the Fire of Hell, and evil indeed will it be that load for him on the Day of Judgment.

Whosoever turns away from it, upon the Day of Resurrection he shall bear a heavy burden, therein abiding forever; how evil upon the Day of Resurrection that burden for them (Taha 100, 101).

The Koran is a book of law and prayer, a book of wisdom and invocation, a book of divine commands to mankind. It is the Holy Book of wisdom containing all the principles necessary for man’s happiness both in this world and the next.

Allah made the preservation of earlier Scriptures the responsibilities of the followers of these Books. Allah says:

“For to them was entrusted the protection of Allah’s Books, as they were witnesses thereto (Al-Maidah, 44).

But the people of the Book were negligent of this; distorted the Books with their interpolations and the reversal of some facts.

The present Gospels, as attested by Christian scholars, were written by historians. They are therefore not totally authentic. Parts of these books are authentic, others are fabricated. The falsehood in them supersedes the truth, especially in those parts which deify Jesus Christ and make him the son of Allah. This distortion however was not a total loss, because Allah wished to send another Scripture whose teachings and principles will serve the good of man and under all conditions.

Allah did not give the responsibility of protecting the Koran to man. Knowing that the Koran was the last revelation to mankind, Allah pledged to protect it Himself from human tampering and guards it from corruption.

It is We who have sent down the Remembrance (Koran) and surely We will guard it (from corruption) (Al-hijr, 9).

Earnest says, “You can also disclose to people how kafirs are to be treated by Muslims as instructed by Allah and Muhammad in the Quran? ”

There is a golden rule in Islam: “Man is either a brother in religion or a brother in creation. Both are entitled to honor and full respect.”

Islam urges it followers to behave with courtesy. For instance, the following verse, which is supposed to instruct Muslims as to how they should deal with non-Muslims in the midst of hostilities (such as war):

And if any of the Idolatries (who are fighting you) seeks thy protection, grant him protection, so that he might [be able to] hear the word of Allah [from thee]; and thereupon convey him to a place where he can feel secure (9: 6).

If Muslims are to behave with such clemency and magnanimity towards the infidels during times of war and conflict, how much more should be expected of their interactions with non-Muslims during times of peace?

Muslims are ordered to respect the disbeliever’s freedom of choice to be a “Disbeliever” – as this is a right bestowed upon humanity by Allah:

The truth is from your Lord”: it is the free will of any person to believe (in Allah) or to be an Infidel (Un believer) (18: 29).

Even if a Muslim should be convinced that someone is a non-believer, still he must accept that his fate is in the hands of Allah alone, since no one human can condemn another – this must be left to the judgment of Allah.

For behold, unto Us will be their return, Then it will be for Us to Judge (humans) (88: 25, 26).

Those who believe (in the Koran), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians ( an ancient religion or people with no specific religion), Christians, Magians, and Polytheists,-Allah will judge between them on the Day of Judgment: for Allah (alone) is witness of all things. (22: 17).

The Quran clearly states that Jews and Christians, and others, will be accepted by Allah as long as they believe in His Oneness and do not associate with Him any partners in worship, and perform good deeds according to the teachings of their authentic Books.

Those who believe (in the Qur’an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve (2: 62).

It should be pointed out that at the time of Moses and after his time several Jews believed in Allah’s oneness and followed exactly the teachings of the Torah. Likewise, at the time of Jesus and until maybe 250 years after his departure to his creator, there were devout Christians believing in Allah’s oneness and followed exactly the teachings of Jesus that he is a Prophet and a servant of Allah.

Areus of Egypt and his followers are an example of the early Christians who worshipped the One God Allah and believed that Jesus is but a Prophet and a servant of Allah.

The Quran forbids Muslims from judging others. This has been expressed clearly in many verses.

For behold, unto Us will be their return (88:25).

Then it will be for (only) Us to call them to account (88:26).

The search for Truth – the desire to find the Divine – is in itself a great task, even if the seeker never ascertains absolute Truth. The act itself possesses great intrinsic value and is demonstrative of a willing heart.

As God plainly reveals in his Holy Quran:

those who strive in Our paths to find Us, We will certainly guide them to our Paths: For verily Allah is with those who do right (29:69).

Jesus is recorded in the scriptures as saying, “Judge not lest ye be judged…and by the same measure you judge others by, so too will you be judged.”

It is for this reason that Allah said to Prophet Mohamed in his Holy Quran :

“I am not an innovation among the Messengers, and I know not what shall be done with me or with you. I only follow what is revealed to me; I am only a clear Warner (46:9).

Earnest says: “You can also disclose to people how kafirs are to be treated by Muslims as instructed by Allah and Muhammad in the Quran? Or will doing this only increase our ignorance about Islam?

    The Koran says:

“God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes. God loves just dealers.” (60: 8)

Even in time of war, the Prophet prohibited soldiers from killing women, children, old people, or any civilian. He would advise them:

“Whoever has killed a person having a treaty with the Muslims shall not smell the fragrance of Paradise, though its fragrance is found for a span of forty years.”

The Prophet listed murder as the second of the major sins (the first major sin is denying the oneness of Allah), and he even warned that on the Day of Judgment: “The first cases to be adjudicated between people on the Day of Judgment will be those of bloodshed.”

One of the main teachings of Islam is to forgive people in order to be forgiven by Allah. The concept of forgiveness and tolerance is one of the most fundamental principlesof Islam.

    The Koran says:

“Show forgiveness, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the foolish (i.e don’t count on their doings” (7:199).

    The Koran also says:

A good action and a bad action are not the same. Repel the bad with something better and, if there is enmity between you and someone else, he will be like a bosom friend (41:4).

God has always described forgiveness as a superior quality and, in one verse, He promised that such behavior will be rewarded.

“The repayment of a bad action is one equivalent to it. But if someone pardons and puts things right, his reward is with Allah. Certainly He does not love wrongdoers (42:40).

In another verse, Allah describes whom He loves:

“those who give in times of both ease and hardship, those who control their rage and pardon other people – God loves the good-doers” (3:134).

Muslims are commanded to believe in all Allah’s prophets and in all Allah’s holy books and to accept and respect all other religions, cultures, and races:

“There is no compulsion in religion…” (2:256).

“…If Allah had willed, He would have made you all in one nation and one religion, but that He left you in different religions to compete in good deeds and society benefits. The return of all of you is to Allah; then He will inform you about that in which you differ” ( 5:48).

The clemency of Islam can also be felt from some sayings of the Prophet:

“Visit the sick, feed the hungry, and free the captive.”

“Allah loves and befriends the servant who is pious, abstinent and unostestacious.”

“The people who exagerate are ruined.”

“Do not rejoice over the troubles of your brother lest Allah may have mercy on him and involve you in this trouble.”

“Facilitate things to people, do not make it hard for them; give them good tidings and do not make them run away.”

“None of you will have faith till he wishes for his brother what he likes for himself.”

“Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or he is oppressed.”

“Allah is kind and likes kindness in all things.”

“The best among you are those who have the best manners and character.”

“One who covers up the failings of somebody in this world, will have his shortcomings covered up by Allah on the Day of Judgment.”

It aint funny what Mohammad thought was funny and it aint funny what you have written Dr Mohsen El-Guindy

Dr. Mohsen El-Guindy, in your long-winded “refutation” of the best you could come up with was “Bill Warner still thinks that the word Kafir in Arabic means non-Muslim in English! ..The word Kafir means unbelievers, atheist, godlessness, ungodliness, infidel.”

Wow Dr Guindy. So Kafir encompasses much more than only non-Muslims. Besides Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Animists, Atheists, Agnostics, and other non-Muslims, to the Sunni it also means Shias, to the Shias it also means Sunnis, to the Sunnis and Shias it also means Ahmediya’s, to the Sunnis, Shias, Ahmediyas it also means those that happen to be homosexual.

But in all you long-winded post not once have you refuted the examples showing Muhammad laughed at the torture and killing of human beings.

(But when the laugh was on him, he cursed those who played a practical joke on him and had them killed – Bukhari 4:241)

Not once have you refuted that there are no Muhammad jokes or that a death sentence would be imposed on such humour.

You try and paint black to be white Dr Guindy, but the fact is that Islam is the most intolerant ideology in the world. It orders the killing of those who criticise it and killing or subjugation of those who do not believe in it.

    Dr. Mohsen El-Guindy,

Thanks for pointing out that Kafir does not mean non-Muslim, but in actuality it might as well. A non-Muslim is a unbeliever. I think everyone will agree with that.

You can you also disclose to people how kafirs are to be treated by Muslims as instructed by Allah and Muhammad in the Quran? Or will doing this only increase our ignorance about Islam?

We know your Quran very well so don’t say we are ignorant. Here is what it says about kafirs: https://politicalislam.com/kafir/

If Allah hated Kafirs so much, why did he create them in the first place? He’s not so powerful after all.

The purpose of Muslims in life is to please their Lord, Allah, by abiding to His laws. Muslims believe that this materialistic world is perishable. To them Allah is always there, looming in their horizon. They strive to seek his consent and forgiveness in the Day of Judgment. This is why good Muslims live their lives in strict forwardness.

Because Muslims combine materialism with spiritualism while crossing the road of life to the Hereafter, they believe that money and power are not important goals in life. Allah’s blessing to Muslims in the form of money and power is but a tool for enabling them to construct the world and inhabit the earth, and not to tyrannize or oppress others. This blessing from Allah is also a test. Would they use it properly as Allah has ordered them to, or they will use it to cause injustice and rise over others?

In Islam the ultimate objective of man is to seek the pleasure of Allah by living in accordance with the divine guidance. The Koran clearly states that the whole purpose behind the creation of man was for glorifying and worshipping Allah.

I only created Jinn and man to worship me (Adh-Dhāriyāt, 56).

Submitting one’s whole self to Allah, and the righteousness of deeds are the basic fundamental requirements to protect one’s self from the torment of Hell Fire.

In other words, the people of paradise are those striving to win Allah’s pleasure and forgiveness by believing in Allah’s Lordship and Oneness without associating with Him any partners (son, angels, idols, saints etc”), believing in Allah’s attributes; believing in all angels, believing in all Allah’s Books, believing in all Messengers and Prophets without difference or distinction; believing in the Day of Judgment; believing in fate whether good or bad, and are active in good deeds. On such shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.

O believers, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book He has sent down (the Koran) on His Messenger and the Book which He has sent down before. Whoso disbelieves in Allah and His angels and His Books, and His Messengers, and the Last Day, has surely gone astray into far error (An-Nisa, 136).

According to Islam, the final destination of mankind is the life hereafter. At the end of time, all human beings will be resurrected and will be held accountable for their worldly life. Lures of this world and its fleeting pleasures often make man forget that the life of the Hereafter is an imminent reality. Many of those who believe in the life to come act and behave as if it belonged to a distant future, and had no relevance to their present activities and mode of living.

The Koran repeatedly reminds man that the Hour of Reckoning is not a distant possibility, but very close to man, and could come to pass any moment. The wisest course for man, therefore, is to be always alert and abstains from all forms of sin and impiety, for when the promised Hour comes it will come all of a sudden and without any prior notice.
When the reckoning comes, each soul will stand on its own personal responsibility. No one else can help it. Full justice will be done, and all the seeming inequalities of this world will be redressed:

The day that every soul shall come disputing in its own behalf; and every soul shall be paid in full for what it wrought, and they shall not be wronged (An-Nahl, 111).

The present life is but the joy of delusion. The true source of light in the world of reality is Allah. Allah is the sight of the believers with which they see, the hearing with which they hear, the foot with which they walk, and the hand with which they grasp. He who cuts himself off from the light of Allah is in utter darkness indeed.

“And to whomsoever Allah assigns no light, no light has he (Al-Nur, 40).

A life of ease and plenty is nothing to boast of. Whatever man has been given is an enjoyment of the life of this world and its adornment, and its temporal and mundane things, whereas all that is in the heaven’s realm affords eternal happiness and surpassing pleasure. Yet people or cities or civilizations grow insolently proud of such things. There were many such in the past, which are now mere names! Their very sites are deserted in most cases, or buried in the debris of ages. But Allah is Merciful and Just. He does not destroy or degrade a people until they have had full opportunities of turning in repentance to Him.

Whatever thing you have been given is the enjoyment of the present life and its adornment; and what is with Allah is better and more enduring. Will you not understand? (Al-Qasas, 60).

    It Ain’t Funny, Bill Warner

Bill says: “There is a troupe of Muslim comedians touring the South to stereotypical view of Muslims.” Bill wonders about the money financing the tour! This troop touring the South to explain true Islam is blessed by Allah, because they are trying to remove that bandage of fraud with which you and the other hate mongers blinded the eyes of your people. You enquire about who is paying the money of their tour? Certainly not from the seven right wing foundations which spread anti-Muslim fear and hate in America. During the last ten years, more than $42 million donated from these foundations had helped groups of individuals and organizations in order to promulgate poisonous extremist ideology and rhetoric by exploiting fears concerning terrorism and national security, as well as general ignorance of Islam and Muslims as a profitable vehicle to advance a hateful agenda.

Because of his ignorance of the Arabic language, Bill Warner still thinks that the word Kafir in Arabic means non-Muslim in English! I explained the difference before in several of my articles, but he just won’t listen. The word Kafir means unbelievers, atheist, godlessness, ungodliness, infidel. You impose on your readers meanings that do not address the truth. This is a sort of misguidance to your readers. Those are whom the Prophet fought after they persecuted him and his followers for 10 years. He even fought them after the Lord told him to do so.

Bill Warner says, “Why isn’t Muhammad funny. All other prophets had jokes but there has never been a Muhammad joke because of the Islamic reasoning or logic. Islamic reasoning is purely authoritarian.

The Prophet of Islam forsook worldly pleasure for the blessedness of the Hereafter. Bliss of the Hereafter awaiting the true believers in Allah is much better than the enjoyment of the present life. The Prophet of Islam said:

By Allah, this life is to the Hereafter, the same as what your finger gathers if dipped into the sea.
Once dew disciples, noticing the imprint of his mattress on his body, wished to give him a softer bed but he politely declined the offer saying:
The worldly comforts are not for me. I am like a traveler, who takes a rest under a tree in the shade and then goes on his way.

Once OmarIbn al-khattab (the second Calif) entered the house of the Prophet. Tears came into his eyes. Muhammad asked the reason for his tears. He replied, “O Allah’s Messenger! Why don’t I cry! The strings of the bed have left marks on your body. This is a small room with all your furniture; I can see what there is. The Byzantine Emperor and the Persian Emperor enjoy luxurious living while you, the Messenger of Allah and the Chosen One, live like this.” The Prophet said,

“Ibn al-Khattab! Don’t you like that they choose this world and we choose the Hereafter?”
    The Prophet also said,
“Every religion has a character and the character of Islam is modesty.”
His love for the poor was so deep that he used to pray:

“O Allah, keep me poor in my life and at my death and raise me at resurrection among those who are poor.”

Despite his position as a great leader, the Prophet never believed himself to be greater or better than other people. He never made others feel small, unwanted or embarrassed. He urged his followers to behave kindly and humbly, releasing slaves whenever possible, and giving in charity to poor people, orphans and prisoners without any thought of reward.

The Prophet of Islam was a high moral character, if he is badly treated by others; he went on returning good for evil. People harmed him, yet he would pray for them. He would remain patient in the face of oppression and, regardless of the provocation he would refrain from becoming incensed. His aim from setting these examples was to fashion souls that were Allah-oriented so that everything else paled into insignificance. He wanted everyone to have such boundless peace of mind that nothing could disturb him. Such balanced individuals would never then become prey to worldliness.

The essence of this philosophy is expressed in one of his sayings:

“Nine things the Lord has commanded me: Fear of Allah in private and in public; justness whether in anger or calmness; moderation in both poverty and affluence; that I should join hands with those who broke away from me, and give to those who deprive me, and forgive those who wrong me; and that my silence should be meditation; and my words be remembrance of Allah; and my vision be keen observation.”
Ibn Abbas narrated that when the Prophet got up at night to offer the midnight prayer, he used to say:

“O Allah! All prayers are for you. You are the Holder of the heavens and the earth, and whatever is in them. All praises are for you. You have the possession of the heavens and the earth and whatever is in them. All praises are for you. You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and all the praises are for you. You are the King of the heavens and the earth and all the praises are for you. You are the Truth and Your Promise is the truth and to meet You is true. Your Word is the truth and Paradise is true, Hell is true, all the Prophets are true, Muhammad is true, and the Day of Resurrection is true. O Allah! I surrender (my will) to You. I believe in You and depend on You, repent to You, and with Your help I argue (with my opponents, the non-believers). And I take you as a Judge (to judge between the Prophet and the disbelievers). Please forgive me my past and future sins, and whatever I concealed or revealed. And You are the One Who makes (some people) forward and (some) backward. There is none to be worshipped but You.” (Bukhari 2/221, 9/482 and 534).

Because Muhammad was to undertake the grave task of prophet – hood as expressed in the promulgation of the last message to mankind – he was given to sadness and long contemplation.

The Koran is in fact a heavy load placed on the Prophet’s shoulder.

Had Allah revealed the Koran to a mountain and it could perceive the picture of what it represents, you would see it shaking with such fits of awe and shivering into atoms for the profound reverence dutiful to Allah.

    Allah says in the Koran:

If We had sent down this Koran upon a mountain, thou wouldst have seen it humbled, split asunder out of the fear of Allah”(Al-Hashr, 21).

Muhammad had to promulgate the Message in a very hostile environment. Allah supported him to accomplish his difficult mission, protected him and even reprimanded him in certain occasions.

If Muhammad were to invent any sayings in Allah’s name, Allah would have smitten him by the right hand (the hand of power), and He would have broken the continuity of blood flow in his major artery close to his heart besides a grievous woeful future plight, and no one could defend him from Allah.

Had he invented against us any sayings, We could have seized him by the right hand, then We would surely have cut the life-vein and not one of you could have defended him (Al-Haqa, 44-47).

The infidels tried their best to tempt the Prophet to make some concessions. They thought they almost seduced him into a course of action which is not divine e.g. the deletion of certain passages of what Allah has revealed, like the prostration in worship; the induction of other passages which would honor their idols forging new words or passages in Allah’s name etc. Had Allah not confirmed him he would have gone along with them up to a point, thinking that with making a small concession he would succeed in fulfilling the divine mission. But then, by consequence, Allah would have made him taste a double punishment in life and at death, and no protector he would have found to help him against Allah.

    Allah says in this regard:

Indeed they were near to seducing thee from that We revealed to thee, that thou mightiest forge against Us another, and then they would surely have taken thee as a friend; and had We not confirmed thee, you would nearly have inclined to them a little; then would We have let thee taste the double of life and the double of death; and then thou wouldst have found none to help thee against Us (Al-Isra’ 73-76).

The Prophet knew that all he had been put in possession of is simply the evanescent enjoyment of the worldly life, whereas all that is in the beatitude of heaven’s realm affords eternal and surpassing pleasure which Allah has reserved for those who believe in his Oneness and put their trust in Him concerning all their affairs.

Whatever thing you have been given is the enjoyment of the present life; but what is with Allah is better and more enduring for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord (Al-Shura, 36).

The Koran taught the Prophet that the only Eternal Reality is Allah. The whole phenomenal world is subject to flux and change and will pass away, but Allah will endure forever.
“Everything will perish save His countenance. His is the command and unto Him you will be brought back”(Qura’n. 28:88).

Now Bill Warner, do you understand why Muhammad was given to sadness, silence and long contemplation?

Yes, the Prophet used only to smile, rather than laugh. However, sometimes he laughed till his front teeth were exposed.

The Prophet said: “I know the last of the inhabitants of Paradise to enter it and the last of the inhabitants of Hell to come out it. He is a man who would be brought on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said: Present his minor sins to him, and withhold from him his serious sins. Then the minor sins would be placed before him, and it would be said: On such and such day you did so and so and on such and such day you did so and so. He would say: Yes. It will not be possible for him to deny, while he would be afraid lest serious sins should be presented before him. It would be said to him: In place of every evil deed you will have good deed. He will (then) say: My Lord! I have done things that I do not see here.” I indeed saw the Messenger of Allah laugh till his front teeth were exposed. [Sahih Muslim, Vol. 1, #365]

A man broke his fast (intentionally) during Ramadan. The Messenger of Allah (p) commanded him to emancipate a slave or fast for two months, or feed sixty poor men. He said: I cannot provide. The Apostle said: Sit down. Thereafter, a huge basket of dates was brought to the Messenger of Allah. He said: Take this and give it as sadaqah (charity). He said: O Messenger of Allah, there is no one poorer than I. The Messenger of Allah thereupon laughed so that his canine teeth became visible and said: Eat it yourself. [Sunan Abu Dawood, Vol. 2, #2386]

Narrated ‘Abdullah: The Prophet said, “I know the person who will be the last to come out of the (Hell) Fire, and the last to enter Paradise. He will be a man who will come out of the (Hell) Fire crawling, and Allah will say to him, ‘Go and enter Paradise.’ He will go to it, but he will imagine that it had been filled, and then he will return and say, ‘O Lord, I have found it full.’ Allah will say, ‘Go and enter Paradise, and you will have what equals the world and ten times as much (or, you will have as much as ten times the like of the world).’ On that, the man will say, ‘Do you mock at me (or laugh at me) though You are the King?” I saw Allah’s Apostle (while saying that) smiling that his premolar teeth became visible. It is said that will be the lowest in degree amongst the people of Paradise. [Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, #575]

Narrated Ibn Mas’ud: Verily the Messenger of Allah said: The last to enter Paradise would be a man who would walk once, stumble once and be burnt by the Fire once. Then when he passes beyond it, he will turn to it and say: Blessed is He Who has saved me from thee. Allah has given me something He has not given to any one of those in earlier or later times.
Then a tree would be raised for him and he will say: O my Lord! Bring me near this tree so that I may take shelter in its shade and drink of its water. Allah, the Exalted and Great, would say: O son of Adam, if I grant you this, you will ask Me for something else. He would say: No, my Lord. And he would promise Him that he would not ask for anything else. His Lord would excuse him because He sees what he cannot help desiring; so He would bring him bear it, and he would take shelter in its shade and drink of its water. Afterwards a tree more beautiful than the first would be raised before him and he would say: O my Lord! Bring me near this tree in order that I may drink of its water and take shelter in its shade and I shall not ask Thee for anything else. He (Allah) would say: O son of Adam, if I bring you near it you may ask me for something else. He would promise Him that he would not ask for anything else. His Lord will excuse him because He sees something he cannot help desiring. So He would bring him near it and he would enjoy its shade and drink its water.
Then a tree would be raised for him at the gate of Paradise, more beautiful than the first two. He would say: O my Lord! Bring me near this (tree) so that I may enjoy its shade and drink from its water. I shall not ask Thee for anything else. He (Allah) would say: O son of Adam! Did you not promise Me that you would not ask Me for anything else? He would say: Yes my Lord, but I shall not ask Thee for anything else. His Lord would excuse him for He sees something the temptation of which he could not resist.
He (Allah) would bring him near it, and when He brings him near it he would hear the voices of the inhabitants of the Paradise. He would say: O my Lord! Admit me to it. He (Allah) would say: O son of Adam, what will bring an end to your requests to Me? Will it please you if I give you the whole world and a similar one with it? He will say: O my Lord! Art Thou mocking at me, though Thou art the Lord of the worlds?
Ibn Mas’ud laughed and asked (the hearers): Why don’t you ask me what I am laughing at. They (then) said: Why do you laugh? He said: It is in this way that the Messenger of Allah (p) laughed. They (the companions of the Holy Prophet) asked: Why do you laugh, Messenger of Allah? He said: On account of the laugh of the Lord of the universe, when he (the desirer of Paradise) said: Art Thou mocking at me though Thou art the Lord of the worlds? He would say: I am not mocking at you, but I have the power to do whatever I wish. [Sahih Muslim, Vol. 1, #359, 361]

Bill Warner describes Islamic reasoning by being authoritative and thus suppressive of thought! He thinks that critical thought loves humor for the reason that all opinions are welcomed.

Muslims are the ones who invented critical thought and used it in building their sciences and civilizations. The Koran urged them to seek science and understand the greatness of Allah through observing His miraculous creation.

Allah ordered them that their conduct in life must be determined by mutual consultation between those who are entitled to voice, e.g., in private domestic affairs, as between husband and wife, or other responsible members of the household; in affairs of business, as between partners or parties interested; and in state affairs, as between rulers or ruled, or as between different departments of administration.

The principal of mutual consultation was applied to its fullest extent by the Holy Prophet in his private and public life, and was fully acted upon by the early rulers of Islam. Modern representative government is an attempt – by no means perfect – to apply this principle in state affairs.

And those who answer their Lord, and perform the prayer, their affair being counsel between them, and they expend of that We have provided them (Al-Shura, 38).

Our Islamic doctrine is not open to critical thought. Our road to paradise is certainly not open to critical though but to a full submission to Allah the All-Mighty. That is precisely what he ordered us to do. The Islamic doctrine is very logic, clear and easy to understand, it does not need humorous critical thought.

Monotheism is the central theme of Islam”a belief in only one God, Allah, who is omnipotent. According to Islam, God has four fundamental functions: creation, sustenance, guidance, and judgment. The overall purpose of humanity is to serve Allah, to worship him alone and to construct a moral lifestyle.

Once a Muslim, each member must carry out five essential duties called the five pillars of faith: to acknowledge that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His prophet; each muslim must pay zakat (alms due); a Muslim must pray five times a day; fast the month of Ramadan; make a pilgrimage to makkah if he is able to do so.

The Koran declares that making the earth a better place is every human’s job in this world. The Koran criticizes humans for their selfishness, which causes them to lose sight of their Creator. Because of this, individuals must go beyond their selfishness and develop an inner moral quality of taqwa (meaning, “to guard against danger”). Each individual goal is for the good of human kind, not themselves.

Islam teaches that, because of humanity’s moral weakness, God sent prophets to teach both individuals and nations correct moral and spiritual behaviors. Since the messages of all prophets emanate from the same divine source, religions are basically one. All prophets are human, but they are the most perfect examples of what humans should be.

Muslims believe that Muhammad was the final prophet and that the Koran is the final and most perfect revelation of God. The Koran is supposed to be superior to all earlier revelations from God.

Muslims also believe in a final judgment when individuals will be judged according to their deeds.
The Islamic religion which Bill Warner thinks it is authoritative is the same religion Allah had enjoined on Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus, namely that we should remain steadfast in religion and make no divisions in it. In other words, Allah’s religion is the same in essence, whether given for example to Noah, Abraham, Moses or Jesus, or to Muhammad. The source of unity is the revelation of Allah. In Islam it is established as an institution and does not remain merely as a vague suggestion that could be submitted to humorous critical thought.

He has laid down for you as religion that He charged Noah with, and that We have revealed to thee, and that We charged Abraham with, Moses and Jesus: Perform the religion, and scatter not regarding it: Very hateful is that for the idolaters, that thou callest them to. Allah chooses unto Himself whomsoever He will, and He guides to Himself whomsoever turn, penitent (Al-Shura, 13).

This Islamic doctrine which is spreading piety and god-fearing in the society, these Koranic principles leading the believer to the road of true salvation, are not subject to compromise or critical thought but rather to follow them blindly. Who would dare arguing with Allah about the road He chose for us in order to achieve success in the worldly life and Hereafter?

Bill Warner, if you treat Allah’s signs in the wrong spirit, i.e. contumaciously rejecting them, or constantly disputing about them, instead of trying to understand them, you are told that such tactics will avail you nothing. You cannot escape the consequences of your sins.

And those who dispute concerning Our Signs may know they have no asylum (Al-Shura, 35).

Critical thoughts may have their ways with science, economical and political affairs, but even those have to be within religious aspects.

If the West is distinguished by critical thoughts which don’t mind criticizing and defaming religions, then let’s see the status of the western world today.

The West appears as a world where immorality reigns. Where it is easier to be bad than good. Where wearing a scarf is banned and baring the body is promoted. Where being a wife or husband is outdated and being a bed partner is smartness. Where piety is ridiculed and impudence glorified. Where prosperity is considered to be the synonym of peace, education that of knowledge and entertainment that of happiness. We are living in a world where children are aborted in the name of women’s rights. Where, murderers and rapists are protected in the name of ‘right to life’. Where, criminals are given all amenities of life in the name of human rights. Where, sexual perverts receive all kinds of sympathy and attention. Where those talking of righteousness in life are condemned as “bloody moralists”. Where, the media do everything to change the choices of the people, but if some reformer tries to warn them against evils, he is dubbed as a retrogressive, who has no business to teach lessons of good behaviour to the people. Alcohol, smoking, gambling and unrestrained-sex are considered to be the biggest symbols of liberty, brothels, beaches, bars and casinos the citadels of “freedom”. One third of the total population of the world smokes, millions of people take drugs, millions drink and gamble and a sizeable percentage indulges in all forms of unhealthy sexual behaviour, including promiscuity, homosexuality, purchased sex, etc. In short, we are inhabitants of a world where the biggest virtue is to openly indulge in the biggest sin; and the biggest sin is to try to exhibit virtuousness.

The globe of New World Order is therefore rapidly developing into nothing but a fireball of chaos.

It is hardly surprising then that
The uniqueness of Muhammad’s (PBUH) mission was its totality, comprehensiveness and perfection; there is no way mankind can improve on it; if it tries to improve upon it, it would only distort and degrade it. What we can however do and must do is to study how best it can be applied to the modern world; and how best we can change the world in accordance with Islam the Prophetic Mission.

Muhammad’s revolution was no ordinary revolution; it was an ideological, intellectual, social, economic, political, moral and spiritual revolution molded into One Single System based on the unification of the mankind under the unified system of the Only Creator and Sustainer of the world.

Muhammad was a chosen man, chosen not by the majority of the human beings but by the Creator of Allah; he was chosen because he was the final destination in the evolution of conscious beings. Muhammad was the true Ambassador and envoy of God who guided individuals, then molded them into a community, then led them to develop a system and then gave Islam the true global colors it was meant for. The earlier the inhabitants of the globe recognize him as the sole Role Model, the better it will be for them individually as well as collectively.

Yes, Muhammad is the ultimate role model in all aspects for human beings to follow. He is the example of what God loves for Mankind to be like.

Bill Warner encourages the mocking at Muhammad the same way the Americans and the westerners mock at their presidents. Under critical thoughts, He defends those who made cartoons or published books to defame Islam and its Prophet. He mentions their names with respect and he pretends to be really sad because they got death threats.

It is so despicable and impudent that Bill Warner defends Mollie Norris, Salman Rushdie and Daniel Pearl because they have the right to offend Allah and His Prophet!

Well, Bill Warner, those who please you because they disgrace the Prophet and defame his book are in fact nothing but immoral bigots, the scum of the earth. We don’t read their books or the dirt they publish. They have chosen the road to perdition; they are the inmates of Hell.

Bill Warner makes me laugh when he says, The establishment will bludgeon you as bigots because you do not agree on an intellectual point!”

With regard to Islam you haven’t found one single virtue in the Koran or the Sunna of the Prophet! You talk about disagreement on an intellectual point! You do not agree on all points. All the points in your website are disgracing Islam in every way. You didn’t find one virtue in the Koran, the Book of virtues which contains 114 chapters containing millions of verses. You didn’t find one Hadith that is urging people to do good!

Muhammad is not an ordinary man to be compared with those filthy names you have just mentioned. We Muslims despise every man dares to utter any immoral or dirty word against Allah our Creator and His prophet Muhammad ibn Abdellah, the best of creation – peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

Have you ever seen a Muslim slandering a Prophet? Have you ever seen a Muslim slandering Jesus or his mother Mary? Have you ever seen a Muslim burning the Talmud or the Gospel? O people, your resurrection is very near, guard yourselves against a Fire its fuel is men and stone.

And why now you talk about critical thoughts regarding Islam in particular? Why don’t you find yourself another subject to talk about? It is an agenda formulated by the haters of Islam (Christian right, Judeo-Christian coalition, tea party, neoconservatives Zionist organizations, and others we know them well). It’s a war against Islam. But you morons forgot one thing, your rival is Allah. Your foolishness made you choose a terrible Warrior and his mighty Prophet. Can you defeat these two? You started the war, and the consequences are terrible: Affliction with disastrous calamities in worldly life, and roasting in Hell in the Hereafter.

Bill Warner, you have cultivated the habit of contention and obstinacy. You will never prosper neither you nor your peers. You seek vain proofs and groundless causes in order to refute the truth and disdain indignantly to acknowledge Allah’s Signs and laugh them to scorn! Verily you have committed a terrible sin. No wonder, Allah has set veils over your heart lest you should understand the Koran and the Sunna of the prophet, and in your ears deafness, so you will never be guided to the truth

You forge against Allah and the Prophet falsehood, those who forge against Allah falsehood shall not prosper. A little enjoyment then for them awaits a painful chastisement.
If Allah were to call you at once to account for hat you have earned, then surely He would hastened your punishment; but you and your other hate mongers have your appointed time beyond which you will find no refuge.

Now you wallow in the luxury of the fleeting life, but you wallow in despair, for the torment of the Hereafter is right behind your back.
Your book of personal records is laid open before your Lord to view, and on the Day of Resurrection your shameful deeds will be your accusers, and you will scream in agony ‘What sort of book is this that leaves neither a small thing nor a big thing, but has recorded it!’

Time with Allah is nothing. His existence is absolute, and not conditioned by time or place. What we call a thousand years may be nothing more than a day or a minute. Time of Allah is incomparable to earthly time. One day in the sight of Allah is 1,000 or 50,000 years.

And they demand of thee to hasten the chastisement! Allah will not fail His promise; and surely a day with thy Lord is as a thousand years of your counting (Al-Haj, 47).

To Him the angels and the Spirit mount up in a day whereof the measure is fifty thousand years (Al-M’arij, 4).

If man lives for a hundred years, then remains in his grave for thousands of years, then was resurrected at the day of Resurrection, and was asked, “How long do you think you sojourned on earth?” He will say, a day or a part of a day.”

He (Allah) will ask, “How many years did you tarry on the Earth?” They will say, “We tarried there for a day or part of a day. Ask those able to count!” He will say, “You tarried there for only a little while, if you did but know!” (Surat al-Muminun, 112-114).

On the Day He calls you, you will respond by praising Him and think that you have only tarried a very short time. ( al-Isra’, 52).

We conclude from this that the death of man is indeed his resurrection, because the distance between his death and the Resurrection Day is only a day or a part of a day.

The book of life is therefore very short and death hovers over our heads. We want to meet our Lord free of sin and ready to accept His magnificent reward – Paradise.
The immoral hate mongers who don’t mind insulting their Creator, mocking at His Prophet and belying the Koran, are in fact implementing a dirty agenda that is heavy financed by some groups of interests who are in fact also great losers. The policy is to launch volleys of hatred and outright lies in order to mobilize more people against Islam. But their endeavor is doomed to failure.

Allah says in His last testaments – the Koran:

Say: ‘Shall We tell you who will be the greater losers in their works? Those whose striving goes astray in the present life, while they think that they are doing good deeds. Those are they that disbelieve in the signs of their Lord and the encounter with him; their works have failed, and on the Day of Resurrection We shall not assign to them any weight. That is their recompense – Gehenna for that they were unbelievers and took My Signs and My Messengers in mockery.
But those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness – the Gardens of paradise shall be their hospitality, therein to dwell forever, desiring no removal out of them (Al-Kahf 103-108).
