A Self-Study Course on Political Islam is based on fourteen different topics. Each topic is taught in three levels. Subjects include: the Sunna of Mohammed, jihad, dualism, women, Sharia, Tears of Jihad, Jews, Christians, dhimmis, slavery and ethics.

The Self-Study Course on Political Islam consists of three books, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.  The first book, Level 1, can also be purchased in an audio version.

The Center for the Study of Political Islam offers two self-study courses, this one and another titled, Foundations of Islam.  You can start with either course but the Foundations of Islam is a natural first step.
